Der Perfekte Geburtstag

We’ve made a film for German children’s TV! This story is about the unicorn Pelle and his friends, who have to travel in a cheese plane to another planet to rescue their buddy Taco, whom they believe has been kidnapped by the evil Burrito! It sounds wild—and that’s exactly what it becomes when a story is written by children, completely without limits and with perhaps a few too many loose threads.

This story was created by fourth-grade pupils at Ila Elementary School in Trondheim, and together with us and our commissioner, the German public broadcaster WDR, it was brought to life and broadcast on the programme Sendung mit der Maus on January 5th 2025. We had a great time during production and filming, all of which took place in our own studios in Trondheim.
