We’re happy to announce that August has brought two new employees to our ranks. Well, it’s not all “new” as it’s more an official instating of two people whom we’ve already been working closely with for some time now. These valuable new additions of competence reflects Klipp og Lim’s strategic decision to enhance our strength in the field of web development and identity design.
Siri Selæs has for several years been working as a designer in Oslo associated with the companies Ashely Booth Design AS, Scandinavian Design Group and Mission Design Agency. She has been doing everything from product packaging to full scale profiles for large corporations. Previous clients include Sparebank 1, Norges Automobil-Forbund, Reinertsen, DnB NOR, DnB, Widerøes Flyveselskap, TINE BA, Procordia Foods AB / Stabburet, Peter Möller, Akademika, Norges Handelshøyskole, Telenor, ICA Ahold / RIMI and Coca Cola Norway.
Eirik Backer has been associated Klipp og Lim on a freelance basis the last two years. Before he came to us he has been responsible for projects like Gotochina, Joseph Cartright, Kathryn Naish, Kosmonaut, Resman, Snorre Valen and The South. He has developed our own content management system (CMS) called Snop, which is an intuitive, flexible and royalty free CMS. This solution is based on XML-files updated with web interface and requires no database. Patrons that have or are in the process of getting Snop implemented on their sites are Trondheim Symfoniorkester, Sorgenfri, Trøndelag Senter for Samtidskunst, Trøndelagsutstillinga and of course our own website.
This employment will also enable Eirik to develop the CMS further and implement additional functionality. Eirik will also continue to share various development techniques on our blog, like he’s done in the much commented “Full Screen Images” post.
